Career and Technical Education - Agriculture Education

The program at ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº¸£ÀûÉç is rooted in its land grant mission which includes a long history of excellence in agriculture studies, in teacher education, and in its nationally recognized faculty. Graduates experience a 100% job placement upon graduation and are ready to obtain licensure in career and technical education – agricultural education (Grades 6-12) in Virginia.
Agriculture education teachers instruct students about agriculture, food, and natural resources. Through these subjects, they teach students a wide variety of skills, including science, mathematics, communications, leadership, management, and technology.
