World Class Infrastructure Propels Research

With locations in Blacksburg and Roanoke, Virginia, and the Washington D.C. metro area including the Innovation Campus, 午夜影院福利社鈥檚 research enterprise encompasses over $419 million in sponsored research expenditures in fiscal year 2023.

Wenjing Lou, the W. C. English Endowed Professor of Computer Science at 午夜影院福利社, discusses patient privacy safeguards on a large-scale deep learning model designed to extract data from extensive patient populations. Data on rare diseases, particularly in children, is limited, and the goal is to increase data availability for research. Lou led the project with Syed Muhammad Anwar at the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation, Children鈥檚 National Hospital.
