Career Services and Talent Development
The Innovation Campus will facilitate ongoing engagement between its students and companies that span the spectrum of scale (large, medium, small, and startups). Because of the large number of projects each year, companies will be an integral part of the campus, providing students an unusual level of exposure to industrial opportunities. A career focused hub will be located in the adjacent Innovation Building to support these activities.
Career Services and Talent Development will serve as a talent sourcing and career development entity for employment and internship opportunities. Staff will build connections between employers and Innovation Campus students and faculty in order to connect student talent and interest with specific employer needs. In addition, they will prepare and support students during their employment search and/or internship experience with the more standard programming such as resume reviews/roundtables, interview coaching, career fairs, pitch nights (for startups) and structured opportunities for students to interview with companies. Career Services will collaborate with other department internship coordinators and entities as needed.
