  • Five faculty members from three departments, one school, and three colleges have been selected for the 2024-25 cohort, receiving up to $10,000 each to develop research proposals.
  • Aminata Sarr has been working with the Precision Agriculture & Data Management lab at Tidewater AREC to enhance her knowledge and skillset in using remote sensing. With focused research on automated irrigation, she plans to return to her home country of Senegal help farmers there develop farming systems to increase profitability and sustainable practices.
